Superstar Salman Khan, who was to be tried for culpable homicide not amounting to murder in the 2002 hit-and-run case, has challenged the Bandra Magistrate court’s order at a Sessions court.
According to NDTV, Salman has called the Magistrate’s order “bad in law” and “erroneous”.
The actor was required to appear before the Sessions court on February 11. His petition would be heard tomorrow (March 6) in the court.
On September 28, 2002, Salman’s car Toyota Land Crusier had rammed into the American Express bakery near his home in Bandra (W), Mumbai. The crash killed a pavement dweller and injured four others.
