A complaint filed by lawyer-activist Abha Singh says that evidence has been manipulated to help the actor
In 2002, Salman Khan’s SUV allegedly ran over five people sleeping on the pavement in the dead of the night. While one person was killed, the remaining four were injured. The actor faced charges of rash and negligent driving.
While the trial is still on, lawyer-activist Abha Singh has filed a complaint saying that the police involved are tampering with evidence to help Salman. Singh also points out that the trial has been purposely delayed to favour the superstar. In response to the complaint, the Mumbai court has summoned Salman on December 27, which also happens to be the actor’s birthday.
