Salman Khan’s Kick mints Rs 225.63 crore, to surpass Shah Rukh Khan’s Chennai Express box office collection!

Salman Khan’s Kick co-starring Jacqueline Fernandez, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Randeep Hooda has literally created dhoom at the box office. The film got off to a flying start and raked in Rs 83.83 crore in the opening weekend it itself. As of now, the total box office collection of Sajid Nadiadwala’s directorial debut stands at Rs 225.63 crore nett which is humongous, right? Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh posted on Twitter, “#Kick [Week 3] Fri 1.97 cr, Sat 2.94 cr, Sun 3.92 cr, Mon 1.69 cr. Grand total – 225.63 cr nett. India biz.” That’s not all! The Salman-Jacqueline starrer has got cash registers ringing oversees too. Adarsh tweeted, “OVERSEAS: #Kick total *after Weekend 3*: approx $ 11 million + [Rs 67.34 cr+]. Salman Khan’s HIGHEST GROSSER in intl markets.”

Going by the figures, we are pretty sure by tomorrow Kick will surpass the lifetime box office collection of Shah Rukh Khan’s Chennai Express which is Rs 226.70 crore nett. Will SK’s film then go on to beat Aamir Khan’s Dhoom:3 record? Only time will tell…
