Star Plus is apparently planning to pull out Saraswatichandra to make way for their new show
Saraswatichandra recently completed 300 episodes. And the lead actors, Gautam Rode (Saras) and Jennifer Winget (Kumud) flew all the way to London to shoot a honeymoon sequence. And while all the happy things are going onscreen, there is surely some bad news floating off-screen. From what we hear, Saraswatichandra, which is based on Govardhanram Tripathi’s novel might go off air in June. Don’t adjust your eyes. You read that right! Reason? Apparently, Star Plus has a line-up of some new shows, but they don’t have a vacant slots to fit in their promising line-up. And hence they have decided to pull out Saraswatichandra to make way for their new show.
“The Gautam Rode-Jennifer Winget show Saraswatichandra will go off air sometime in June. As of now, the date that is being talked about is June 26. However, the show might be dragged on for a while more, if the new show demands more time for its launch,” a source was quoted by a portal.
Considering, Saraswatichandra have reached a new landmark and is going good on the TRP charts, we really wonder if the rumours are indeed true or is it just to create some extra hype. What do you think BollywoodLifers?
