Shahid Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor not buddies?

The Mausam actor denies being on friendly terms with the ‘Rockstar’

May be the debacle of his last film has led him into the zone where he wants to be left alone, or the constant comparisons with RK Jr has done him in. While Mausam is being nominated for the ‘worst film of the year’, Ranbir is picking up almost all the awards for his stellar act in Imtiaz Ali’s Rockstar. In a recent interview, a disgruntled Shahid said, “This is a new thing I’ve heard – do-teen din saath bita lete hai (spend two-three days together) and people term you as best friends. Ranbir and I know each other and he seems like a chilled out chap. ‘Friend’ is a word I use for people I know will stand by me when things are not going well.” Wethinks a hit film this year will bring back the smile on Shahid’s face and who knows he and Ranbir could become the new BFFs in B-town.
