Shahid Kapoor, Riteish Deshmukh and other Bollywood celebs celebrate the arrival of the monsoon

Our B-town stars seem to love the sight of the first rains. And they took to Twitter to express their joy…

Shahid Kapoor, who is about to leave for the IIFA Awards in Singapore, said, “The haze n clouds bring out the romance of Mumbai. Love my city in the rains.”

Sujoy Ghosh couldn’t help but remember some of the 90s’ rain songs. He says, “Tip tip barsa pani (Mohra) is yellow sari.. De diya (Keemat) is white sari.. Tip tip paani (Afsana Pyaar Ka) is no sari!”

Monica Dogra, who is currently in Goa, writes, “Its raining in goa. Those sleepy monsoon rains have begun. Air so heavy, it tastes like life.”

Shreya Ghosal tweeted about her new Malayalam song which she thinks is apt for the rain, and said, “Raining. Finally. I felt the rains!!! Yayyyyy.”

Riteish Deshmukh, who will be shooting for Kya Super Kool Hain Hum tonight,  wrote, “monsoon visits us-glad I could feel the 1st drops of rain on my face in front of d camera-welcome bearish.”
