A lot of B-townies are in US gearing up for IIFA ceremony but quite a few Bollywood bigwigs came out to vote today and made sure to use their fundamental right

Shahrukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and hubby Abhishek Bachchan, Arjun Rampal, Ajay Devgn and wifey Kajol, all these stars stepped out today to cast their valuable votes.

Like always the Bachchan family came together though they were amongst the late voters. After getting inked, Big B posted a selfie on popular social networking site Twitter and wrote, “My selfie …my vote …my inked finger!! Jai Hind.” Jr Bachchan followed suit and along his picture, he tweeted, “Go Vote.” King Khan, who is busy shooting for Farah Khan’s film Happy New Year and the ongoing IPL 7 tournament, took some time out to cast his vote. Then while talking to the media SRK said, “Right to vote is also right to dignity; it amalgamates a lot of things, the way we stay in India and what we want.” We hear the superstar will now head of to Tampa Bay were IIFA is being held for the first time.

Besides the Bachchan khandaan and Shahrukh, Kajol and his hubby dearest Ajay also exercised their right to vote. The Singham actor who isn’t so active on social networking sites also tweeted, “On my way 2 vote. Go ahead guys. Claim ur country. Make it urs!” SRK’s once-upon-a-time close buddy Arjun Rampal flew down to Mumbai from Dubai just to vote. He too took to twitter and wrote, “Made it back on time from Dubai to cast my vote. Go Vote and vote right. Every vote counts.”

Other celebs who turned up to cast their votes today were Aamir Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Salman Khan, Farhan Akhtar, Juhi Chawla, Preity Zinta, Vidya Balan, Ranveer Singh, Rekha, Sonam Kapoor, Sunny Deol and Shilpa Shetty.
