Shahrukh Khan depressed with Sachin Tendulkar’s retirement from Test cricket

The Bollywood superstar tweets the cricketer was an ‘addiction’ and that he’s going through cold turkey

In a media statement released through the Board of Control for Cricket in India this afternoon, Sachin Tendulkar has announced his retirement from international cricket.

As the Master Blaster announced his retirement, the Baadshah of Bollywood, Shahrukh Khan did not take too long to comment on Tendulkar’s decision.

The Chennai Express actor tweeted, “O no! Suddenly realised the meaning of addiction. Mine was the Master.I am going thru cold turkey. To see cricket without Sachin? Unbearable”.

The 40-year old Tendulkar said his 200th Test will be the last time he will be seen in India colours. This milestone match, to be played against the West Indies, will most probably be held in Mumbai next month.
