That’s what the King Khan said when asked why he was promoting RA.One all alone

Shahrukh Khan has been holding a record number of press conferences and promotional events leading up to the release of his super ambitious project RA.One. While Arjun Rampal has been kept away from these events as his look and character are yet to be unveiled, the film’s lead heroine Kareena Kapoor seems too busy to be a part of the endless promotional activities. Shahrukh has been toiling all alone to get his film the maximum amount of publicity and buzz. Recently, when we asked SRK why Kareena or Priyanka Chopra (his leading lady in Don 2) didn’t make it to the Kaun Banega Crorepati hot seat with him, he said that Kareena has been busy. “I wish! But I am not promoting RA.One or Don 2 on KBC so why should I come with any of my costars,” he defended. “Aaj kal heroines mujhse zyada busy ho gayi hain (the heroines are busier than I am these days). Amitabhji and I are actually roaming around free,” he said in his inimitable witty style. It’s true that Kareena is shooting for Reema Kagti’s film opposite Aamir Khan and is also helping beau Saif Ali Khan deal with his father’s death. But it also seems like SRK is trying to prove that he can single-handedly drive a film. Well, wethinks that King Khan’s name is enough to draw the audience into the theatres! What do you think?
