Daniel Craig’s latest James Bond flick Skyfall has become the talk of the global town. It has also triggered our hyperactive filmi imaginations to start a quest to find our very own 007 who could take the world by storm with his incredible panache and undeniable desi charm

It’s not easy to play James Bond. You’ve got to have that effortless swagger, that amazing sex appeal and, above all, the ability to connect with a global audience. From Roger Moore to Sean Connery and from Pierce Brosnan to Daniel Craig – Hollywood studs have seduced film-goers with their impossible-to-replicate acts as James Bond. But that made us start wondering who from glitzy B-town has it all to dial 007…could it be Shahrukh Khan, our favourite Don, or Saif Ali Khan, Agent Vinod himself, or perhaps Hrithik Roshan, who made Aryan the arch-villain? Only Akshay Kumar – The Khiladi (Khiladi is already kind of a desi Bond series anyways). But still, if Akshay Kumar grows too old for when the time of Bond remake comes, I would say ‘Hrithik Roshan’. Salman Khan can’t do his own stunts properly and while he is charming, he doesn’t have everything Bond needs. Same with SRK and the others.
