So for the time being the new mommy and her hubby Raj Kundra are calling their first born ‘Baby K’. No surprises for guessing who inspired them to come up with that!

Before the media goes into a frenzy speculating about the name of Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra’s new son, the yummy mommy tweeted a nickname she picked up for her little one. The overjoyed mother said on the social networking site Twitter: “Can’t believe (I) am a mother now! Ecstatic is an understatement. Thank you so much for all the good wishes and love all of you have bestowed us and Baby K.”We think the leggy leading lady has been inspired by her Phir Milenge co-star Abhishek Bachchan, who publicly called his darling daughter Beti B before officially naming her Aaradhya.

Meanwhile, the Kundra couple waits for a green signal from Shilpa’s mom Sunanda Shetty to name the baby. In an interview the Super Fight League founder Raj Kundra says, “I have told my mother-in-law to pick an alphabet as she knows about astrology. So, whatever alphabet she gives us, we will decide the name accordingly.” For now, he added, he will be taking wifey home to rest and recover, along with his brand new son.

While Baby K is way better than the commonly used nicknames in Bollywood like Lolo, Dabboo, Gattu and Chintu, we aren’t pleased or impressed with Shilpa’s creative imagination….or should we say lack of it. But we wait to find out more…and to see the new little one!
