Shivaay’s Darkhaast or Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’s title track: Which Arijit Singh song won your heart?

The makers of Shivaay have released their second song Darkhaast and this beautiful number sung by Arijit Singh has once again made us wonder how this singer can do justice with his each and every song. Arijit who was once a reality show contestant who had failed to emerge a winner then but now he literally owns the music industry. Every music composer wants to works with him and every director wishes to have at least one Arijit number in their movie.  And we totally understand this need now. The singer literally mesmerizes everyone when he take the mic and lends his soothing voice to a track. Remember the day when Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’s title song was released? It captivated each and every one. We were hooked to our earphones, listening to this number on a loop. If the singer’s voice stirred something in us, Ranbir, Aishwarya and Anushka’s presence took this song a notch above. With Arijit, you can say that whatever this singer touches turns into gold. At a time when we were still getting used to having a track like Ae Dil Hai Mushkil on our playlist because gems don’t get made often, Ajay Devgn released his new song from the movie Shivaay with Arijit singing it. You can imagine the effect it will have on anyone. It keeps you captivated throughout and the chemistry between Ajay and Erikaa Kaar gives the remaining final touches to this song. It is interesting to see how both the movies which are clashing at the box office this Diwali, is leaving no stone unturned when it comes to the film’s music. Ajay has even roped in International band The Vamps for his movie which will be one amazing song to look forward to,we are sure of that.

Both the numbers are co incidentally romantic tracks and that is the reason why comparison is bound to happen.
