Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision Ltd’s office confiscated by bank

State Bank of India seized properties belonging to the production house as they were unable to pay their necessary dues

Makers of movies like Jab We Met, Bol Bachchan and the Golmaal series, Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision Ltd have lost three of its offices to the bank. Offices number 001, 204 and 205 in the VIP Plaza, Andheri have been sealed by the State Bank of India (Malad West). It has been known that the production house owed a sum of Rs 29 crore to the said bank.

The bank had given a notice to the production house which they did not pay any heed to. The bank would have had confiscated the offices long time back but the production house kept on saying that they would pay the dues. Finally after a long delay, the bank officials resorted to legal action and went ahead to take over the offices. The important documents were given to the production house and the offices were sealed with everything intact.
