Shreyas Talpade doesn’t mind being slotted as a comedian

The Golmaal 3 actor takes it as a compliment instead

While most B-towners are wary of getting slotted in a particular genre, Shreyas Talpade is a rare exception. He started off his career in Bollywood with Nagesh Kukunoor’s serious film, Iqbal, and has now become the funny guy, thanks to his act as Laxman in Rohit Shetty’s Golmaal 3. He will also been seen fooling around in Housefull 2 and Golmaal 4. In a recent interview, he said, “Coming from a serious film like Iqbal, to be slotted in the comedy genre is a compliment. But I have some interesting roles that I am doing. In the future too, I am looking to playing a range of roles and explore different genres. I don’t want to take myself too seriously.” Wethinks nothing succeeds like success, especially in Bollywood and we just hope Shreyas keeps up the good work.
