After fetching fame for his Hollywood projects such as Slumdog Millionaire and Million Dollar Arm the young actor is all set to play the lead in his forthcoming
Not many know that Madhur Mittal who was seen Freida Pinto and Dev Patel starrer Oscar winning movie Slumdog Millionaire, was also seen in Bollywood flicks such as Shahrukh Khan’s One Two Ka Four and Salman Khan starring Kahin Pyaar Na Ho Jaaye as a child artiste.
And now a little birdie has chirped to us that the dude with a curly mop of hair will be seen portraying the lead character in Hemant Nilim Das’s film Pocket Gangster. We also gather that what’s unique about the two-hour, one of its kind movie, is that is an uncut production. All the scenes have been shot together without any cuts or retakes and they all will be retained.
Mittal played the role of grown-up Salim in the film, about a slum-kid whose rags to riches story was appreciated by the world. “My family is proud of my roles in these two films but they are keen to see me in a Hindi film. I worked in SRK and Salman Khan’s films as a child artiste so Bollywood has always been on my radar,” said Mittal in an interview.
Pocket Gangster also stars Vijay Raaz, Raghuvir Yadav and Shivangi Mehra.
