SON OF SARDAAR song: Ajay Devgn does a Shahrukh Khan in Yeh Jo Halki Halki Khumariyaan
The two celebs might be at war with each other right now, but who says the Son Of Sardaar actor can’t take a lesson or two from the King of Romance
The newest song of Son Of Sardaar that’s called Yeh Jo Halki Halki Khumariyaan drips with mush and romance. And guess what, it even fleetingly reminds us of – brace yourself for this Mr Ajay Devgn – the title song of the Shahrukh Khan-Madhuri Dixit starrer Hum Tumhare Hai Sanam. At least the first part of the song does, and you can’t deny it! The same sun-dried fields, a heroine waving her pallu and a hero posing with open arms. See the connect?
But if the description of the visuals coaxes you to think that this number is a light melody, you might be mistaken. The song opens with guitar strings that might be suited for light rock music and takes you by surprise. Gradually it traverses the soft, romantic lands with Ajay Devgn and Sonakshi Sinha tightly embraced in each others arms.
Yeh Jo Halki Halki Khumariyaan might grow on you, but then, it might not. So go ahead, take a look at this song composed by Sajid-Wajid, written by Irshad Kamil, and sung by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. Tell us – what’s your verdict?
