Sonu Sood to play underworld don Dawood Ibrahim

The Dabangg baddie is extremely thrilled to be a part of Sanjay Gupta’s much-awaited action thriller Shootout at Wadala

After getting rave reviews for his 2007 film Shootout at Lokhandwala, director Sanjay Gupta is gearing up for his next movie Shootout at Wadala starring Anil Kapoor, John Abraham and Manoj Bajpai. And now we hear that he has cast the impressive Sonu Sood as the notorious don Dawood Ibrahim Kaskar in the film.

Shootout at Wadala is a true tale depicting the one-upmanship prevalent in Mumbai’s underworld circle. Based on noted crime journalist Hussain Zaidi’s accounts, the film will showcase the rise of Dawood and how he hatched a conspiracy to kill  his arch rival, gangster Manya Surve (John Abraham). Manoj Bajpai will be seen playing Dawood’s brother Shabbir. But what got us really excited was the prospect of watching B-town’s two muscle men pitting their fantastic physique against each other. Yes, we hear that Sonu will take on John in the film. We have already seen the two do some incredible stunts and fight sequences in Force and Dabangg, but will Sanjay Gupta give us a double whammy by showcasing these two hunks together in some bare-dare action scenes? Let’s keep our fingers crossed, Bollywoodlifers!Subscribe to me on YouTube
