Akki dances to Himesh Reshammiya’s Punjabi shaadi number with the two beauties in tow

Akshay Kumar has danced to a zillion Punjabi numbers during his career – from Namaste London to Singh Is Kinng. In his next film Special 26 too he shakes a leg to a Punjabi folk number Gore mukhde pe, and you are left with a feeling of déjà vu when you watch him prance around doing balle balle yet again.

In the video, Akshay subtly flirts with Neeru Bajwa, who is raising her eyebrows and shaking her hips throughout, and then he imagines his real lady love Kajal Aggarwal dancing with him. It’s quite done to death, isn’t it?

Anyway, this number is the only song in the film composed by Himesh Reshammiya and it’s no great shakes. It only leaves you with the feeling of ‘where have I heard that one before’! And in a dramatic thriller based on a real life story, this number seems totally out of place. The only interesting part of this video is before and after the song when Anupam Kher introduces his kids to Akki.
