STUDENT OF THE YEAR song Radha: Karan Johar’s kids like to party
Student Of The Year is one of the most awaited films of the year, as it has been directed by Karan Johar. It stars newbies Varun Dhawan, Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt, and the sprightly kids look like a promising bunch. From what we have seen so far, they seem to have had a lot of fun. It is perhaps the first time KJo has worked with debut actors and wethinks his risk will pay off with rich dividends. SOTY has hit the soft spot of teenyboppers who are eagerly waiting for this campus caper to hit the theatres.
The makers have released a party number from the album and we couldn’t resist tapping our feet as we listened to it. Composed by Vishal-Shekhar, Radha has been written by Anvita Dutt Guptan. The video is blingy and showed that Mr Johar has come a long way since You are my Soniya from Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham. The money spent on the song shows and the glitter factor is right up there. Varun, Sidharth and Alia are really lucky to make their acting debuts in a Karan Johar film.
