Watch the catchy number from Karan Johar’s campus caper

From what we have seen so far, it would be safe to say that Karan Johar’s Varun Dhawan-Sidharth Malhotra-Alia Bhatt starrer, Student Of The Year is aimed at teenyboppers. It has all the makings of another blockbuster like KJo’s directorial debut, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. Despite the fact that it doesn’t have any stars, the star kids look very promising. If you have watched the songs of SOTY you would nod your head in agreement. While it is too early to say who among Varun, Sidharth and Alia will make it big in Bollywood, let us just say that the competition will be tough.

The makers have released the Ratta maar song and it is very catchy and upbeat. Composed by Vishal-Shekhar, this number has been penned by Anvita Dutt and has vocals by Vishal and Shefali Alvarez. A moment in the video that stood out was when Siddharth shows a middle finger to Varun. This might lead to a little problem with the censor board and Mr Johar might have to blur it out, as is the norm. Boman Irani’s son Kayoze has been featured in the video and we wonder why he has been left out in the other songs and promos. Watch the video of Ratta maar and tell us if you like it.
