Sunny Leone’s sex appeal beats Kangana Ranaut’s acting prowess at the box office

Both Kangy and Sunny are currently ruling at the box office with their respective films Queen and Ragini MMS 2. But the latter seems to have surprised everybody by literally creating hungama at the ticket windows with her horrex

Vikas Bahl’s directorial venture Queen starring Kangana Ranaut in the lead not only managed to impress the masses and critics but also got a thumps up from Bollywood bigwigs. The film released on March 7 and is still pulling in crowds to the theatres. Now that says a lot about Kangana’s performance, hai na? The curly haired babe has certainly hit the bullseye with her feel-good chick flick. In fact, Queen has now crossed the Rs 50 crore mark at the box office. Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, “Queen [Week 4] Fri 75 lacs, Sat 1.25 cr, Sun 1.60 cr. Grand total: Rs 55.05 cr nett. India biz.” Though Kangy’s film started off on a slow note, it picked up after positive reviews and word-of-mouth. However, it’s the former Canadian pornstar who has raced ahead in the numbers game.

Yes, Sunny Leone starrer Ragini MMS 2 has got cash registers ringing and how! Ekta Kapoor’s production venture hit the theaters on March 21 and the film has already grossed around Rs 45 crore at the Indian box office. Ragini MMS 2 [Week 2] Fri 1.50 cr, Sat 2.25 cr, Sun 2.75 cr. Grand total – 45.88 cr nett. India biz.” Wethinks Ms Leone’s sex appeal has worked wonders for her film.

Since Kangana’s film earned Rs 40 crore in its second week, we can safely say that Sunny has cruised ahead in this box office battle, hai na? At the same time, we are glad that two B-town beauties are giving male actors a run for their money at the ticket windows. Guess Bollywood is no longer about Khans!
