Supreme Court makes playing National Anthem a must in movie theatres all over India

In a historic move, Supreme Court has ordered that National Anthem be played at all movie theatres across the country. Now this is a norm followed in every theatre in Mumbai and Pune. But same is not the case in many other cities. This decision will make mandatory to play the anthem before a movie starts.

ANI reported it saying,

The apex court also gave out a cautionary note to people to rise up when the anthem is being played.

Centre has also agreed to whatever is necessary for this move to take effect.

There are more directives that Supreme Court gave out along with this.

But Twitter didn’t really take the news in a good way and was busy listing out issues that this move might create.
