Sushant Singh Rajput or Hiten Tejwani – the better Manav

The audience fell for his simpleton nature, cute smile and effortless acting. Sushant Singh Rajput aka Manav won millions of hearts when he decided to fall in love and marry Ankita Lokhande aka Archana in Zee TV’s popular show, Pavitra Rishta

After completing two and half years on the show and securing several awards, Sushant quit the show to move on to do bigger things in life and to follow his passion in direction. The production house replaced the actor with Hiten Tejwani popularly known as Karan Virani of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi.  It’s a big change to see Ankita suddenly romancing Hiten rather than Sushant but the audience has been patient and has given the actor a chance. It is definitely not an easy task for Hiten to fill the former’s shoes but with experience on his side, Hiten would hopefully do a good job. In addition to that, by taking up this project its like come home for the actor. He hopes that with time people will get used to him as Manav, the rest ideally depends on the track of the serial. Much as we like to agree, it’s not entirely true. There is no doubt that Hiten is a good actor. But the chemistry Ankita and Sushant shared off screen rubbed off on their performance for Pavitra Rishta too. How do you expect, Hiten to match that now. When Hiten was romancing his current wife, Gauri Tejwani in earlier television soaps, it was their chemistry that made them popular among the masses. While it’s a paramount task to match, we are hopeful that the actor will be able to pull it off. While we still miss Sushant, we cross our fingers and hope that Hiten lifts up his act and match our expectation. And maybe after a 100 more episodes he may just become synonymous to Manav.
