Sushant Singh Rajput replaces Shahid Kapoor in Maneesh Sharma’s next

Yet another buzz about Sasha losing out on a movie makes us wonder if the Phata Poster Nikla Hero actor is again heading towards to a dry phase…

A teeny-tiny while ago we heard that the sequel of Kaminey will no longer star its original hero Shahid Kapoor, as Vishal Bhardwaj decided that Imran Khan was a better option. And now, television actor Sushant Singh Rajput has grabbed a role in Maneesh Sharma’s next – a remake of Korean film My Girlfriend Is An Agent – right from under Sasha’s nose. Sigh!

But does that hint at yet another dry phase in Shahid’s acting career? Maybe not. Because even though there’s news about Sasha losing out on roles, he still has Phata Poster Nikla Hero, Rambo Rajkumar and Bejoy Nambiar’s untitled next. Phew! And thank God for that, right?

Anyway. While we do feel a little sad for Sasha, we’re happy that our TV dude is on a roll right now. He will soon be seen in Abhishek Kapoor’s Kai Po Che. And while he was approached for a Yash Raj Films’ movie opposite Parineeti Chopra, he turned it down due to his commitments with UTV. But when Sushant was again approached for the same film, he agreed only on the condition that he should be allowed to work in a UTV movie after that. Whoa! Looks like the Maanav of Pavitra Rishta is truly in demand in B-town, no?

And all this makes us wonder if Sushant Singh Rajput is indeed the next superstar in the making. What do you think, readers – is he?

Mr Kapoor, plz don’t take any notice of these media freaks! Bunch of morons. Do your work, get on with your life and live it well, have a good heart, this world is not important, how you live in it is.
Always be kind, good mannered, and be a great human being, rest does not matter.
