Sushant Singh Rajput’s M.S. Dhoni – The Untold Story release last month and became such a huge film that it is almost unbelievable. People expected it to be a big hit but the way it just soared and soared at box office, it was terrific. It was as much Sushant’s doing as much as it is of Dhoni. The latter is loved and is almost worshipped by cricket lovers. So it wasn’t surprising that they warmed up to the film but nobody knew it will become so massive. The film is still making money despite having a spate of releases post it hitting the theatres. It only helped its cause that none of these films were anything big to talk about. Taran Adarsh had reported the figures of MSD recently mentioning how much it has earned. It says, “#MSDhoniTheUntoldStory [Week 3] Fri 1.51 cr, Sat 2.01 cr, Sun 2.12 cr. Total: ₹ 127.12 cr. India biz. HIT.” The latest figures of 129.15 cr has proved that it has gone past Airlift without any problem. Now that is a big triumph for Sushant. And guess that has made Sushant Singh Rajput hike his price. We told you how he has increased his remuneration post the success of the film. A Mumbai Mirror report says that Sushant has hiked his fees for his upcoming films. Post the success of the MS Dhoni biopic, the actor has doubled his price. He now wants Rs 3.5- Rs 4 crore a film, states the report. “That is the standard practice of any star. If you deliver a 200-crore sizzler, you demand a higher price.
