TALAASH song Jee le zara: Aamir Khan-Rani Mukerji miss their son

Watch the sad number from Reema Kagti’s new thriller

Aamir Khan’s Talaash is one of the most awaited films of the year, the expectations we have from it on par with those of Salman Khan’s Ek Tha Tiger and Shahrukh Khan’s Jab Tak Hai Jaan. Director Reema Kagti has helmed this thriller that also stars Rani Mukerji and Kareena Kapoor. Produced by Farhan Akhtar’s Excel Entertainment, Talaash has music by Aamir’s new favourite music-man Ram Sampath. The makers have released a new song from the thriller, Jee le zara. It has vocals by Vishal Dadlani and is very moving.

Jee le zara features Aamir, Rani and their son, a young child who apparently isn’t with them any more. The song is about the good times they had when the child was around and how sad they are now that he is not. Wonderfully shot, this sad number will have a life of its own beyond the film, we predict. We are not sure if a song like this will slow the pace of a thriller, but given Mr Perfectionist’s involvement and understanding of cinema, wethinks it will only add to the story.

Dear Bollywoodlifer, do watch Jee le zara and let us know if you liked it.
