Tanishaa Mukerji and Ragini Khanna quit Gangs of Hasseepur – Find out why?

The show’s dropping TRP has resulted in many walk outs

Tanishaa Mukerji’s second outing on television as one of the judge’s of Gangs of Hasseepur began with much grandeur and pomp, has hit a road block. With the first 16 episodes of this comic series failed to win over it’s viewers, resulting in the ouster of judge Tanishaa and host Ragini Khanna.

Apparently the show’s failure to garner TRPs was one of the biggest reasons for this sudden exit. Rumour mills also suggest that Tanishaa and Ragini were not spontaneous and hardly showed any interest for the betterment of GOH. Buzz suggests that the production house felt that the show could as well do without the presence of these beauties. So, does that mean that Mandira Bedi will go solo on Hasseepur now?

The channel is keeping their moves hush-hush and refuted all rumours suggesting that Tanishaa and Ragini were shown the door. Zee TV suggests that decision to move on is mutual and are currently focusing on the show’s makeover.

It seems that Kajol’s little sister had date issues with the new schedule and hence cut short her inning from 16 episodes to 10. Ms Khanna on the otherhand was to host only eight episodes, but has shot for 10 of them so far. Delay in renewal of TV contracts is usual in the television industry, however we wonder was the shows dropping TRP the real reason for their exit.
