Tisca Chopra, Alok Nath, Satish Shah, Divya Dutta and Sachin Khedekar come up with India’s first radio film!

Maa Ke Aanchal Mein will release on mother’s day and will emphasize on girl child, female education and showcase the special bond between mother and their children

India’s No.1 radio network, 92.7 BIG FM, has come up with a unique thing for their listeners. They are going to make history this mother’s day, with this special initiative along, which is a joint venture by BIG FM and Clinic Plus. For the first time in history listeners will be witnessing a Radio film. Radio’s first ever feature film, Maa Ke Aanchal Mein, is about a girl and how her mother helps her to complete her dream. The film has a special message for all girls across the nation.

The story has been penned by famous writer-lyricist and RJ Neelesh Misra, who hosts the popular show Yaadon Ke Idiot Box Mein. Neelesh Misra has been the most enthusiastic story teller for 92.7 BIG FM. The film, which will emphasise on a girl’s dream to study and her aspirations to fly high, will be aired o International Mother’s Day, which is this Sunday, 11 May. The first radio film will be aired from 12 noon, and it is expected to inspire not just the younger generation, but also educate the elder generation.

The movie, which has Tisca Chopra, Sparsh Khanchandani, Alok Nath, Himani Shivpuri, Upasana Singh, Satish Shah and Sachin Khedekar, was launched today at the 92.7 BIG FM studio at Versova, Mumbai. Divya Dutta is also a part of the film and she has acted as the narrator who tells the story.

92.7 BIG FM has always been a pioneer in bringing in newer formats of story telling to their listeners in India and this might just take the radio experience to a completely different level. Wethinks that the topic of girl child and female education is old but still half of India is unaware of its benefits. Maybe by BIG FM’s this initiative people might get more aware of the situation and better the condition of girls in the country.

So BollywoodLifers, do tune in to your radio sets this sunday and be part of history in the making!
