The Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania actor is scared that his next film titled might run into trouble with the board
Varun Dhawan is all set to shed his image of a lovable Casanova for his next project Badlapur which is being helmed by Shriram Raghavan. Now we know that the film is an intense psychological thriller but the makers disclose that it delves into a very dark theme.
Not just that, the Badlapur crew even claims that this thriller is a never seen before attempt in Bollywood which might come as a shock to the Censor Board. Now the makers and the actors both are afraid the Censors cracking their whip.
Varun Dhawan who refuses to spill the beans about the plot of Badlapur was quoted saying, “All I can reveal is that the film is absolutely new to Indian cinema. Since we have chosen an unconventional subject, we are going all out with an unabashed approach. I just hope that none of the scenes get cut by the censors. Beyond that, it is too early to divulge anything more. I have to admit that it has been a great ride so far since my role is truly challenging and radically different from whatever I have done so far.”
Apart from Varun the film will feature some of the gems of the film industry like Huma Qureshi, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Vinay Pathak.
