Varun Dhawan’s Badrinath Ki Dulhania BEATS Akshay Kumar’s Jolly LLB 2 on day 10

Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt‘s Badrinath Ki Dulhania has set the box office on fire ever since it released on March 10. The movie has been performing very well and on day 10 saw a massive growth as it collected Rs 7.45 crore. With that, Badrinath Ki Dulhania continued to compete with Akshay Kumar’s Jolly LLB 2. It has managed to beat Akshay’s movie once again. If you compare the tenth-day (second Sunday) collection of both the films, you will realise what we are talking about. On day 10, Jolly LLB 2 had raked in Rs 7.24 crore, which is lesser than what Badrinath Ki Dulhania (Rs 7.45 crore) has managed to earn. Both the films got similar screen space, had similar buzz before release and got a strong word-of-mouth publicity after the release, so the comparison is just! In its lifetime run, Akshay‘s Jolly LLB 2 managed to earn Rs 115.65 crore. But will Varun’s Badrinath Ki Dulhania be able to beat it? We have to wait and watch. Till then, stay tuned to BollywoodLife as we get you all the latest box office updates about the movie right here! Talking about the overall collections, Badrinath Ki Dulhania has now raked in Rs 91.22 crore. With such a good buzz and great content, we expect the movie to earn Rs 110-120 crore in its lifetime run. In fact, BKD has managed to achieve this even after facing opposition from films like Kiara Advani‘s Machine, Rajkummar Rao’s Trapped, Govinda’s Aa Gaya Hero, Emma Watson’s Beauty And The Beast. None of the films excited the audience and so, everyone preferred to watch Badrinath Ki Dulhania on the second weekend too…
