Vidya Balan-Siddharth Roy Kapur’s sangeet ceremony to take place today
As the D-day for yet another lavish wedding of B-town draws near, family and friends gear up to groove to the tunes of The Dirty Picture
A lot is being said about the Vidya Balan and Siddharth Roy Kapur wedding since the time our feathered friends came to know about the hush-hush preparations going on for the marriage that’s scheduled for December 14. And finally the ceremonies of the Tamil-cum-Punjabi wedding are all set to kick-off from today with the sangeet ceremony that will take place at Vidya’s residence.
Birdies chirp that while VB’s side have busied themselves with the preparations for sangeet, Sid’s brothers Kunal Roy Kapur and Aditya Roy Kapur are planning something special for tonight.
But do you know the main highlight? “Her cousins have made a medley of her hit songs. They have also insisted that Vidya takes part in the act and she has apparently agreed. She is planning to dance to Ooh La La from her film The Dirty Picture,” a birdie chirped.
Also, we are told that Vidya’s wedding trousseau has been designed by her favourite designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee. Ahem ahem. But weren’t we expecting that? Wink, wink.
Vidya Balan and Siddharth Roy Kapur met on the sets of No One Killed Jessica. And while their wedding was supposedly scheduled for February 2012, Sid’s divorce to his second wife wasn’t finalised by then. But now, the legal matters have been sorted out.

WOW kareena, rani, siri devi and now vidya ALL HOME BREAKERS!!!! he only divorced her because of vidya smh. These people never leaner, but i guess it was vidyas “ohhh lalalal”
