When the launch of Aankhen 2 took place the makers revealed the cast of it in the form of Amitabh Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Arshad Warsi and Arjun Rampal. They had revealed then that they’ll be announcing another cast member soon and turns out it is none other than Vidyut Jamwal. The 35-year old actor who was last seen in Bullet Raja and before that in Commando and Force. He’ll be seen doing daredevil stunts as a blind man. And in order to prepare for his role, he plans to interact with visually impaired people, to get into the skin of his character.
Vidyut told a leading daily, “I absolutely loved Aankhen. When the opportunity of working in Aankhen 2 came my way, I was excited. I am looking forward to this challenging role for which I will perform some complex stunts.” The movie is set to kick off in April and will be wrapped in three months. Producer Gaurang Doshi informed,”We are leaving for the recce in Johannesburg, South Africa, on December 11, where the casino portions will be shot. After that we move to Europe where most of the film is set.”
The first part of the film starred Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Arjun Rampal, Paresh Rawal and Sushmita Sen. And dealt with the story of Amitabh Bachchan’s character who trains three blind men to rob a bank.
As far as Vidyut Jamwal is concerned, so far he has done just three films in his six years in Bollywood. His debut was critically acclaimed as a villain in Force 2 and he was then seen in as action avatar in Commando. And in a supporting role in Saif Ali Khan’s Bullet Raja. He’ll be next seen in a sequel to Commando, titled Commando 2 and with Ajay Devgn and Emraan Hashmi in Milan Luthria’s Baadshaho.
