Vindu Dara Singh arrested for involvement in IPL spot-fixing case

The news just in says that the Bigg Boss 3 winner allegedly has links with bookies. He is the first B-town celeb to be arrested in relation to the recent IPL 6 controversy

Vindu Dara Singh, son of late actor-wrestler Dara Singh has been taken into custody by the Mumbai Crime Branch for having played a role in the Indian Premier League (IPL) spot-fixing controversy. The last we heard was that 11 bookies and three cricketers (S Sreesanth, Ajit Chandila and Ankeet Chavan) were produced at the Saket Court, New Delhi. Vindu was last seen in Son of Sardaar. The actor has strong links to various influential people in Bollywood. He is usually seen making small appearances in Hindi films and occasionally making his presence felt in reality shows.

As per our sources, Singh has been in constant touch with the various bookies involved in IPL betting and that’s how the cops gathered the evidence that links him to the current scandal. He was arrested last evening and was questioned by the Delhi police for his alleged involvement in the spot fixing case. He will be produced in the Mumbai Lower Court tomorrow and will be in custody till May 24.
