Viraf Patel to bid adieu to Naamkarann?

After Barkha Bisht and Kunwar Amarjeet Singh, actor Viraf Patel is all set to quit Star Plus’ drama, Naamkarann. The show has undergone a leap with Avni growing up. The battle is between Avni (Aditi Sharma) and Dayavanti (Reema Lagoo). Zain Imam is the main male lead. This leaves very little for Viraf on the show. In a statement to The Times of India, Viraf said, “I don’t feel there will be anything creatively satisfying for me to do now, after the leap. So maybe, I should quit the show. Hopefully, they will let me go. However, things can change if Mahesh Bhatt saab has better things in store for me.” Viraf played the role of Ashish Mehta and was paired with Barkha Bisht. In the mean time, Viraf is also involved with Sony TV’s Moh Moh Ke Dhaage. He is writing the script of the show that features Eijaz Khan, Niyati Fatnani and Benaf Dadachanji. The actor has a creative side which has found an outlet on the show. It is co-produced by Saba Mumtaz who also made Ek Boond Ishq, a show that Viraf worked on. Well, the actor is surely exploring options. (ALSO READ: Naamkarann actor Kunwar Amar suffers eye infection on the last day of his shoot)
