Sharman Joshi starrer Wajah Tum Ho has failed to show growth on its second day and has earned Rs 2.68 crore on Saturday as compared to Rs 2.86 crore it earned on the day of its release. The film which was earlier slated for a December 2 release was postponed to a December 16 release due to the on going demonetisation. Taran Adarsh tweeted the collections saying, “#WajahTumHo Fri 2.86 cr, Sat 2.68 cr. Total: ₹ 5.54 cr [1995 screens]. India biz.”

The film saw a big release with 1995 screens and the business is pretty low as compared to the number of screens it is released on. A similar film, in terms of genre, budget, starcast and director was released last year around same time, called Hate Story 3 and that film had earned much more than this one. The film has just a week to earn as much money it can, as from next week, December 23, Aamir Khan will return to the big screen after two years with Dangal. And going by the business of its second day, it will show a little growth on a Sunday but Monday onwards, it seems a downhill road for the film. It’s very unlikely for the film to go beyond Rs 15 crore mark at the domestic box office. Also read: Wajah Tum Ho box office collection day 1: Sana Khan-Sharman Joshi starrer earns Rs 2.86 crore
The film has opened to generally negative reviews, BollywoodLife in its review had stated, “Wajah Tum Ho is far far better than Hate Story 2 and 3. Though it is most definitely not the edge of your seat suspense thriller, it is not outrageously bad either. In India where we celebrate one time watch movies, Wajah Tum Ho can easily be your weekend indulgence. But if you are an ardent worshipper of logical plots, and near flawless films, stick to your sorts.”
