We asked Alia Bhatt if she cried better than Shah Rukh Khan and here’s what she had to say – watch EXCLUSIVE interview!

So we caught up Alia Bhatt after Dear Zindagi release and the actress was ecstatic for reasons we best know. Alia has had a fabulous 2016 and by that we do not just mean that the actress has managed to tick off working with Shah Rukh Khan in a film. This year kickstarted with Kapoor & Sons and then we saw Alia impress us with her acting chops in Udta Punjab alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan and Shahid Kapoor and yes her last release this year Dear Zindagi is already a hit and is doing good business at the box office. We bet with such a wide gamut of roles in her kitty Alia will find herself in the best actress category nominations. But quiz the pretty petite babe about awards and she becomes really shy. Alia is simply happy that she had so much going for her this year. However, ask her one other actress who in her opinion deserves the best actress this year and she quickly names Sonam Kapoor for Neerja. Is she being humble and modest? Well, she seemed genuinely embarrassed and confused about picking herself and one of her own roles.

But ask Alia Bhatt about her Dear Zindagi co-star SRK and she literally melts. The actress tells us how she had told Shah Rukh ahead of the film how people will want to have a Jehangir Khan in their lives and want those fun sessions by the beach and riding a cycle. However, when we asked Alia if she enacts the crying sequences even better than SRK here’s what she had to say…

Alia Bhatt is certainly in a happy space, unlike her contemporaries she has a great career graph. In fact one cannot forget the variety of roles she has played in such a short span. And while others might be weighed down by their disasters Alia was unscathed despite her film Shaandar‘s failure. In fact she has put this debacle much behind her by doling out some impeccable performances. (Shah Rukh Khan ready to do Nishabd with Alia Bhatt, but there’s a catch!)
