Were Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor unhappy with their roles in Gunday?

These two hunks from B-town are all set to sizzle the screens along with the hot Priyanka Chopra. And well, here’s some goss about Gunday

Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor play Bikram and Bala the gangsters in their upcoming action crime film Gunday. So far, both Ranveer and Arjun have impressed us in the trailer, teaser and songs of Gunday that have been released. And just so that Priyanka Chopra doesn’t feel neglected, she looks great, as usual. So now we hear that Ranveer and Arjun were more interested in each other’s character when they first heard the script. So here’s the story.

Director Ali Abbas Zafar gave a joint narration of the Gunday script to Ranveer and Arjun. Ali didn’t tell them which roles would be assigned to them and at that time Ranveer expressed that he wanted to play Bala and Arjun preferred the role of Bikram. However, the director felt the other way around, and he saw the angry young man Bikram in Ranveer and the outspoken Bala in Arjun. Ali convinced the duo to play the respective parts. He told a popular tabloid, “It was obvious that both Ranveer and Arjun would want to do roles that were closest to their own personalities. We had to convince them to do the opposite roles.”

Hmmm… Well, let’s wait and watch Gunday on February 14 and decide if Ranveer and Arjun’s choice of characters was better than what Ali has delivered. Or if Ali was always right about their roles…
