Though KJo is better known as a director and Yo Yo as a rapper, both these B-townies will soon be flaunting their acting skills, and that’s not the only factor they have in common, there’s more. But what?
Karan Johar made his directorial debut with Shahrukh Khan in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, while Yo Yo Honey Singh too gained the limelight in Bollywood with his Lungi dance song in SRK-Deepika Padukone starrer Chennai Express. But what if we say that Shahrukh is not the only common element between the singing sensation and the talented filmmaker?
KJo and Yo Yo are all set to make their acting debut and incidentally both of them are debuting as baddies. It’s old goss that Mr Johar will be playing a negative character in Anurag Kashyap’s Bombay Velvet starring Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma. Now we hear that Honey Singh’s character in Himesh Reshammiya’s production venture, Xpose will also have shades of grey. Isn’t this too much of a coincidence?
Or maybe these B-town peeps have understood that villains are the most in thing today. Remember how Juhi Chawla’s villanious avatar overpowered Madhuri Dixit’s heroic act in Gulaab Gang? Villains are the new sexy, it seems.
