The Dabangg babe is urging her fans to adopt cats and dogs ahead of International Homeless Animals’ Day
Sonakshi Sinha is an ardent pet lover and lived with her dog Nancy for 14 years. So it wasn’t surprising when Sona came forward and lent her support to People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) India. The Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Dobaara actor has been associated with the animal rights organisation for quite some time. For International Homeless Animals’ Day which is on August 17; she has been featured in an advertisement asking her fans to adopt cats and dogs and also to take care of sterilising the animals.
Ms Sinha is not the only one from Bollywood to have joined forces with PETA. Before this, Hema Malini, John Abraham, Shilpa Shetty and Celina Jaitly too have been part of quite a few PETA campaigns and have used their star power to promote the noble cause.
