Hema Malini’s younger daughter is all set to tie the knot and here’s something interesting about the wedding
Hema Malini’s younger daughter Ahana Deol will get married to her fiancé Vaibhav Arora on February 2. And the soon-to-be-married couple have designed their wedding invite with a philosophical touch. Reportedly, the wedding card has a vintage look and the Tree of Life printed on it. Ahana’s mother Hema Malini says, “This is a symbol of green and growth. The tree stands for protection. In our culture, the man symbolises the tree, and its branches and leaves are women and children.” How thoughtful, no?
The pre-wedding celebrations begin tomorrow with the mehendi ceremony, which will take place at Hema’s bungalow in Mumbai. While the mehendi ceremony is a private affair, the wedding and reception will be grand and will take place at a five-star hotel near the Mumbai airport onFebruary 2. Ahana and Vaibhav will have another reception in Delhi on February 5, as the groom’s family is based in the capital.
Ahana’s mother Hema talks about shopping for the wedding, “It was a task. When Esha tied the knot, I brought a lot of things from down South. This time the shopping was done in Mumbai and Jaipur. Neeta Lulla has designed her mehendi ceremony ensemble and Manish Malhotra her wedding outfit.”
Daddy dearest Dharmendra shares his feelings about his youngest child Ahana tying the knot, says, “My three daughters – Vijeta, Ajeita and Esha – have settled down beautifully, I am sure Ahana will too. A daughter’s wedding is every parent’s responsibility but we don’t want to get rid of our daughters. It’s painful, but has to be done.”
Well, we’re sure Ahana will be a beautiful bride and hope that Ahana and Vaibhav have a happy marriage. Keep watching this space for more updates about Ahana Deol’s wedding.
