This Friday, the audience can treat themselves to the much awaited romantic comedy
Vidya Balan and Farhan Akhtar’s Shaadi Ke Side Effects looks promising, written and directed by Saket Chaudhary this movie also stars television star Ram Kapoor. What can one expect from the fresh pairing of Vidya-Farhan in this romantic comedy. Will this be a story that many married couples will relate to? Are Farhan and Vidya the perfect choice to essay light-hearted roles? Well, here’s what you can expect in this new story, the next phase of Pyaar Ke Side Effects.
The Bhaag Milkha Bhaag star steps into Rahul Bose’s shoes as the confused Sid, while replacing the bombshell Mallika Sherawat is none other than our boombat Balan. While the prequel of SKSE was all about how Sid’s commitment phobia, Akhtar’s film deals with Sid’s dilemma post marriage and issues of dealing with parenthood, not forget the changing image of once sexy girlfriend, now a atyachaari wife.
Like it’s prequel, this movie is loaded with fun hummable tracks. PKSE had a soothing song like Jaane kya chahe mann baanwara and a high energy peppy song like Tauba main Pyar Karke. SKSE too has some good picks like the song rendered by Farhan – Yaha waha and Pritam brings back the hit number from the earlier film and customises it for the SKSE – Tauba main vyah karke.
