The humble superstar spent some quality time with his visually impaired fans
At the sets of Lingaa at Melukote, in the pouring rain, Rajinikanth made the day memorable for eight members of the IDL Blind band who had travelled all the way from Bangalore to meet their favourite superstar. The Thalaiva, known for his simplistic lifestyle in contrary to his onscreen image, greeted the visually impaired students.
Apparently, the superstar was moved when he heard that the students led by Dr PK Paul had travelled all the way from Bangalore in pouring rain, just to meet him. The members of the IDL Blind band also had a special lunch with the producer of the film Rockline Venkatesh, who welcomed them with open arms.
Rajini chatted with each and every member of the band personally and gave his blessings to the visually challenged students. The Superstar praised Dr Paul for his social work and also promised the students to visit the IDL Blind Foundation in Bangalore someday. In the past, IDL Blind foundation had the privilege of being the hosts to the little master Sachin and Indian captain MS Dhoni.
In the era where news about stars throwing tantrums are popping up, here is one humble superstar who believes in the quote of ‘Simple living and high thinking’. All hail Rajini for this sweet and incredible gesture.
