Here’s a look at how our B-Town filmmakers let their imaginations go wild to create spine-chilling (sometimes rib-tickling) horror moments on screen

After a long time horror has once again become popular in Bollywood. Should the new found interest in spooky movies be credited to Vikram Bhatt’s Haunted and 13B or Hollywood’s Twilight series? Recently Ekta Kapoor announced a vampire flick called Bloody Vir, while Abhay Deol and Kunal Khemu have signed on to do zombie movies. But serious is rarely successful in B-town; comedy with a ghost or two generally works much better. We look at some genuinely horrific or funnily scary scenes from the past. Back then you watched them with fingers covering your face, but today you can laugh at most of it.
