When Salman Khan replaced Sonu Nigam…

The latest song from Kick has caught everyone’s attention courtesy Sallu miyaan’s dumdaar voice. But did you know Hangover was initially sung by Sonu Nigam? Read on to know full story…

The makers of Kick recently released the much-awaited song Hangover which has been crooned by none other than Salman Khan and Shreya Ghoshal. While the Being Human star managed to impress many with his vocal skills, we hear Sonu Nigam recorded this peppy number last year itself. Yes you heard that right! While talking to a leading tabloid, a source close to the production said, “Sajid Nadiadwala had approached Sonu to sing the number. They didn’t even discuss the remunerations as Sonu has sung several times in the past for Salman Khan’s films. After the recording, Sajid messaged him saying that the track has turned out well and that he couldn’t get the song out of his head. But, then, he was dropped and replaced by Salman.” Awww that’s sad na?

But what’s shocking is the fact that Sonu had no clue about this development until he read in the newspapers. “Yes, I had recorded this song last year. I wasn’t told that it has been dropped. I read it in the papers that Salman had sung it. I wasn’t even paid for it” the Kal Ho Na Ho singer told the tabloid.

The whole ‘Salman singing’ strategy has worked in the favour of Kick but we do think its outright unprofessional to replace someone without letting them know!Subscribe to me on YouTube

Sonu Nigam can’t complain for the dropping his voice as the producers didn’t find it suitable. However, he must be paid for his works. Otherwise, the whole team sucks. I am saying that despite being a Salman Khan fan.

    Songs sung by Salman Khan:

1st song- ‘Chandi Ki Daal’ in Hello Brother

2nd song- ‘Kyun Kanke Teri Choodi’ in Tum Ko Na Bhool Payengi (partially sung, co-male singer0

    3rd song- ‘Wanted’ Title Song

4th Song- ‘Hangover’ Finest of all

Almost every singer uses auto tune nowadays! What’s new in it?
