The film’s director Rohit Shetty might go with his Golmaal leading lady Kareena Kapoor. Or maybe not…

The hunt is on for Shahrukh Khan’s new heroine. While Katrina Kaif is starring with him in Yash Raj Films’ new project, there seems to be uncertainty as far as his female co-star in Chennai Express is concerned. The film’s director Rohit Shetty is apparently trying to rope in his Golmaal actor Kareena Kapoor for the film. That would be great for the fans of SRK and Bebo who were last seen together in RA.One and made a sizzling hot pair in Asoka.

But Rohit is also trying out some ‘younger’ girls for the role, as reported by a newspaper. Makes sense, since Kareena is on her way to becoming a wife to Nawab Saif Ali Khan soon after their film Agent Vinod hits theatres on March 23 this year. B-town’s other happening female actors as well as some newcomers are all vying for Rohit’s attention at this point. Let’s see who grabs it first…and keeps it long enough to sign on the dotted line!
