Why are mobile phones banned on the sets of Shahrukh Khan-Deepika Padukone’s Happy New Year?

Buzz is that the producers of Happy New Year have banned the use of mobile phones on the film’s sets. But why?

Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone are busy shooting for Farah Khan’s upcoming directorial venture, Happy New Year, which also stars Abhishek Bachchan, Sonu Sood, Boman Irani and Vivaan Shah. And reportedly security has been tightened and mobile phones are banned on the sets of the film, after few pictures shot on the sets were leaked recently.

“Some background dancers had been called from outside and they clicked some pictures. This upset the producers as they don’t want to reveal the film’s look at this juncture. They have now banned the use of cell phones on the sets of the film. In fact, this ban was announced earlier on but the makers are stricter about it now,” a source close to the production unit was quoted by a tabloid.

All of this makes us wonder how the people would be surviving without their mobile phones. After all, phones have sort of become a basic necessity these days. Do you agree with us peeps?Subscribe to me on YouTube
