Why does Barun Sobti love Bollywood more than television?
The small screen actor recently took the plunge and landed in B-town with the movie Main Aur Mr Right which is slated to release in July. But what is he doing nowadays?
Barun Sobti is currently in Kolkata, busy attending workshops for 22 Yards. For all those who are wondering what this is, here’s what – Barun will be playing the role of a cricket agent in a movie directed by Mitali Ghoshal, which is based on a documentary filmed on Sourav Ganguly called The Warrior Prince. And Barun is busy preparing for his role in this upcoming movie.
The actor’s debut film Main Aur Mr Right is currently in the post-production stage and all set to release in July. Amidst all this, Barun revealed that he feels Bollywood is better than television because movies give you time to research on the character while TV keeps you on your toes all the time. Hmm, that’s true.
Now that makes us believe that Barun has probably no intentions of returning back to the hectic television schedules in the future. Right, Barun?
We also wonder, will it be the same with other television stars who have crossed the borders, like Sushant Singh Rajput and Amit Sadh. Or will they follow in the footsteps of Ram Kapoor – juggling films and daily soaps. Tell us what you think!

hey guys most of them are the fans of arshi naa so if barun is not in daily soaps.but we love him.we also lve sanaya but whyu all are not wacthing her show if this will go on.sanaya also will leave the show.and we fans start commenting that come back we miss u.this is going on with barun.so plz wacth chan chan to get good trp and be in 1st position.

He himself has said that he would love to work in TV again if he gets something interesting without a hectic work schedule. I think you have made the mistake in grabbing the meaning on what he said.
He is a fabulous actor and a wonderful human being, whether it is Tellywood or Bollywood our love for Barun will never change, and we fans will always support him in all his decisions.

You have misquoted him…Barun said if offered a good role he will come back to television. Barun is a versatile actor who can do justice to any role. So be it television or movies he will scorch the screen with his amazing performance. Proud to be his die hard fan!

I just hope things will work out well for him in Bollywood…surely it will take Time but in the long run, I hope he doesn’t end up doing small roles or side roles. I still believe that he shouldn’t have ended his tv career so abruptly!!

Barun did say he’ll be taking TV shows if he gets an interesting role. Its true he won’t do one for a while, because he has to promote Main Aur Mr. Right and shoot for 22 Yards. But he might come back to TV again.

I’m sure if he gets anything interesting in TV he will definitely do it…he does have a point in films u can prepare u r character well……I’m waiting for his both films …….I hope both will be a super hit
