After learning Marathi, the intelligent actor now wants to master Bhojpuri for his forthcoming movie
We know Aamir Khan wanted to master Marathi, and the versatile actor had also appointed a special tutor to learn the language. We even heard Aamir trying to converse in Marathi at various events and dos with his Maharashtrian friends. But now a new language seems to have caught the actor’s fancy. A little birdie has chirped to us that Aamir is busy taking lessons in Bhojpuri for the last four months, as his character in Rajkumar Hirani’s forthcoming movie P.K. requires him to speak the language. But Khan learning the language, which is predominately spoken in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, has raised a few eyebrows and an obvious question.
While most of the film is being shot in Rajasthan, why does Aamir have to speak Bhojpuri? Ideally he should have been learning Rajasthani or Marwari to suit the character, no? Curious souls are trying to get an answer to that one, but insiders believe that there is a twist in the tale that requires Khan to speak Bhojpuri. Well, we will have to ask Aamir that the next time we bump into him!
