Why is Abhay Deol in trouble again?

Viacom 18 has decided to take legal action against the One By Two actor

Abhay Deol’s latest release One By Two has received a lukewarm response from the audience. Viacom 18 which has the theatrical, audio, video, overseas and satellite rights of the film, are planning to take legal action against the Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara actor.

According to the latest update, Viacom 18 is seeking compensation of over Rs 2 crore because the music rights of the film remained unsold. A few days back, Abhay stood by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, the music directors of his latest release and refused to ask them sign an illegal clause with T-series due to which the music of the film did not release.

Due to this move by Deol,  the corporation lost on the revenue that they would have normally got from the sale of music. Due to this, Viacom 18 is reportedly looking to ask the actor to compensate them for the loss.
