The Hum Aapke Hain Kaun actor is no longer sure if he would ever be willing to visit his childhood home. Read on to know why…
Mohnish Behl is no longer eager to hold onto his Mumbra property and wants to sell the house where he spent most of his childhood days. As we had informed you before that on Saturday, a two-day-old infant was found dead in the swimming pool of the Force actor’s Mumbra bungalow. A little birdie informs us that the incident has left the Hum Saath Saath Hai actor so shaken that he is willing to let go off his childhood memories. He admits that the house has a special importance in his life, and it will always have that, but he wouldn’t be any longer able to visit the house after such a tragic incident.
Talking to a leading daily Behl informed, “My parents had bought the property in 1965 and many of my childhood days were spent there. But after my mother (actor Nutan) passed away in 1991, my father cut down on his visits to this bungalow. Ekta (wife) and I have not been there for nearly a decade now. A watchman, who is also the caretaker, has been looking after the place. After what I saw on Saturday, I really don’t know what I will do. This incident will never go away from my mind. I hope people change their attitude towards girl children.” Mohnish and his wife stopped visiting the house since his father’s (Rajneesh Behl) death in 2004. He maintains that he had a very special attachment with the place and therefore was not willing to sell it off but now he might just.
Wethinks, such incidents are definitely disturbing but selling your childhood home, which has all your memories, would not be a wise idea. Hai na, BollywoodLifers?
